Here are some helpful pointers, though: first, fly in your photographer at least a day in advance, since plane connections into the Caribbean are notoriously late.You have to expect a hitch when getting to the Caribbean, so if you're getting married on a Saturday, it's a good idea to have your photographer fly out Thursday. That way, if there's an issue, your destination wedding photographer will show up on Friday at the latest, and still have time to prepare and photograph your Saturday wedding. Then, on Sunday, it's a good idea to go around and take a lot of couples photographs -- it'll be like an engagement session but after the wedding. Then he'll fly out on Monday morning.
