Mykonos Wedding Photographer
Hopefully you'll find this Mykonos wedding photographer resource page helpful as you start to plan your destination wedding abroad. So: Mykonos! What a place! It's one of the most well known and cosmopolitan Greek isles, and for good reason. There's hopping night life, popular beaches, gorgeous scenery and incredible architecture, but of course all this comes at a price; Mykonos can get busy and expensive, as with all popular travel destinations. But if you plan properly and select the right place to stay and get married, you can't beat a wedding on Mykonos. The Dreamtime Vote goes to either Mykonos or Santorini as the best Greek island for a wedding.

Mykonos wedding photography ideas
Mykonos wedding photographers tend to take advantage of the many architectural wonders of the island. A great place for wedding photography is the monastery of Panagia Tourliani, or Little Venice in Mykonos Town. Little Venice has gorgeous mideval houses with bright balconies and interesting streets; many call it one of the most romantic areas in the Greek Isles. The sunets are colorful and vibrant, and it's reached by a short walk from the Windmills. These interesting buildings helped the island produce wheat and bread in centuries past. Also, consider asking your Mykonos wedding photographer to shoot in front of Panagia Paraportiani, a 600 year old church that's the most photographed of all 400 of the island's churches.
As for entertaining your guests, there are many fun things that you and your loved one can do while in Mykonos. Mykonos is a huge tourist attraction bringing thousands to its beaches year round. Places like Petro the Pelican, Little Venice, and the Mykonos windmills are great places to sightsee and get an idea of how Greece was back in the old days. There are great museums (Folklore Museum, the Archaeological Museum); incredible beaches, and lots of night life. Mykonos actually ranks up there with Ibiza as one of Europe's most happening places. You can also take the wedding party to Delos, a deserted island off the coast with archaeological wonders. Mykonos wedding photographers can take advantage of the island's many ruins and old buildings and create magical wedding photography.

Dreamtime Verdict: Mykonos
A near perfect place for a destination wedding, especially if you have a larger guest list and want to ensure your family and friends have lots of stuff to do. Couples with small guest lists who are seeking a more intimate experience might go for a place like Poros, but if you want to have a bash, Mykonos might be a great option. It's got the most night life of all the Greek Islands, along with some of the beautiful architecture, great weather, and beautiful beaches that the Greek Islands our known for. As a Mykonos wedding photographer, I give it two thumbs up.
