Grenada, commonly misspelled as Greneda or Graneda, is a gorgeous island country off the coast of Venezuela and close to Trinidad, Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. At 132 square miles, its one of the larger islands in the area -- but don't worry about that. It's pretty simple to get married there -- the requirements are as follows: you'll need to be on the island for at least three days before you can apply for a license. To do so, you'll need to visit the government offices with passports, birth certificates, an affidavid of singledom, and your license fees. Once you've applied, you should receive your license after a few days. For this reason, it's best to arrive ont he island on a Sunday if you plan on a wedding the following Saturday.
