Aruba wedding photographer
We offer a Aruba wedding photographer for couples getting married in the ABC islands. Aruba, with its accessibility and hotels of all types, is a ton of fun. It is one of the more built up areas in the Caribbean, so it's great for larger weddings or for weddings that will include guests. Wedding photography in Aruba is not just limited to the hotel district, however. There is an absolutely stunning windward side the the island with miles of wild nature, gorgeous landscape and beautiful picture taking opportunities. Aruba wedding photographer Dreamtime Images has photographed numerous times in the country, so be sure to shoot us an email if you have any questions.
Aruba weddings
I have a blast as an Aruba wedding photographer. There are a ton of cool places to shoot at, and even the courthouse in the center of town is very picturesque for couples who just want a civil union. Here's some helpful information about Aruba weddings and destination wedding photography - be warned that there are relatively more rules in Aruba than in other places, so you need to be prepared. First, couples need to bring documents proving they're single. You will need a valid passport for yourselves and your witnesses (though if you don't have witnesses, you can pay a little extra and bring someone in to preside over your civil union). You'll also need birth certificates with raised seals. Before your destination wedding in Aruba, you'll need to send your documents to the Civil Registry for review about four weeks before the wedding. I've photographed an Aruba civil wedding ceremony in Oranjestad and it was really quite cool.

Best places to get married on Aruba
Aruba has a ton of cool resorts to get married at. The ones that are highly regarded include the Bucuti and Tara Beach Resort, the Hyatt Regency (Dreamtime has photographed a wedding there before - nice place!), the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, the Marriott Aruba Resort and Stellaris Casino, the Radisson Aruba, the Riu Palace, the Westin, the Renaissance Aruba, and the Divi Aruba Phoenix. There's also an Occidental Grand in Aruba that is all inclusive. That's just a short list of the top places to get married in Aruba; there are certainly many other fantastic wedding venues. Aruba is so easy to get to that it's almost worth spending a long weekend on the island if you're interested in an Aruba destination wedding.
What to do on Aruba
Everyone planning a destination wedding also needs to consider fun adventures and activities for wedding guests. Aruba has many of them. First and foremost is its diving. The scuba diving is top notch, and honestly I'm just waiting for someone to send an email and ask me to photograph an underwater wedding on scuba. As a former dive instructor, I have a special place in my heart for divers. I bring an underwater camera along to island jobs, and shooting a scuba wedding would be so fun. Some couples arrange a brief side trip to the Butterfly Farm on the island. But really, Aruba is a great place for members of the bridal party to play poker and blackjack! The island has some awesome casinos and fantastic nightlife.
Dreamtime Verdict: Aruba
Aruba is a great place for an island wedding. One of its biggest advantages is that it's one of the easier islands to get to in the Caribbean, since it's just a short flight from Florida. The atmosphere is mellow and laid back, and the unique Aruba style is extremely attractive to couples. Some couples may not like the hotel district, with its mile or two of hotels, while others will certainly love it - it's super easy to grab a late night bite, go dancing, and not have to worry about finding your way home at night. If you are considering an island wedding in an area with an established wedding industry and tourism infrastructure, Aruba should be at the top of your list. We have photographed numerous weddings in Aruba, and our favorite places include the beaches in the north, as well as the colorful green courthouse in town. Our couples have not only chosen to stay at the hotels, but they've also rented houses just past the hotel district for their smaller, more intimate weddings.
